Quote of the Week
My God! How little do my countrymen know what precious blessings they are in possession of, and which no other people on earth enjoy! - Thomas Jefferson
Great choice for this! Not in those exact words, of course, but I look at my friends, family, neighbors, & complete strangers & think the same thing... People get so caught up in complaining that they forget (we're all guilty).
I've been thinking about this so much since I got back from my trip Chelle. Even with all that has went on in the past 8 years we still have a higher level of freedom and wealth than many. The biggest blessing is that we have the ability to change our situation. We choose what we want our country to be. But only if we have the courage to express an opinion and vote with our ideals.

It's just a shame that so many of our privileges have been taken away within the past few years. =(

How are you this week? I hope you had a good holiday!
I celebrated our nation's birth in a way that would make Benjamin Franklin very proud; beer and food!
